Button confident for Japanese race
British Formula One driver Jensen Button has said he is "very positive" for the next race of the season, which is set to take place in Japan next weekend.

After finishing fifth in this weekend's Singapore race - and extending his lead in the driver's championship by one point - Button said he was very happy with his performance and was confident over his Japanese challenge next week.

There are three races left in the current season and with a maximum of 30 points up for grabs, Button can only be beaten by either Brazilian Rubens Barrichello or German driver Sebastian Vettel.

Currently, Button is on 89 points, with fellow Brawn GP racer Barrichello on 69 and Red Bull driver Vettel on 59 points.

The Japanese Grand Prix will take place at the Suzuka track.

Talking to the Formula One website, BMW Sauber driver Nick Heidfeld said that the track is his favourite circuit and noted that it is "very varied and flows beautifully".
