Streaming video service launched by MTV Japan
Music lovers are now able to watch music video clips for free at the MTV Japan website, it has been announced.

MTV Networks Japan (MTVNJ) has teamed up with record labels including Universal Music Group and Warner Music Group to offer the service, with clips from a range of top artists being made available.

To promote the move, the video for Green Day's new song - Know Your Enemy - is being exclusively premiered in Japan by MTVNJ tomorrow (April 24th).

Vice president and general manager of digital media in north Asia at the company Paul Greenberg remarked: "This new functionality is an integral part of our evolution towards seamless and rich cross-platform experience of the MTV brand in Japan."

Users will also be able to access clips of television shows from the MTV Networks International content library.

Today, MTV Arabia is showing highlights of Coldplay's concert in Abu Dhabi last month - the band's first ever performance in the Middle East.
