Chinese diva Jane Z made her Japanese debut at the Duo Music Exchange club in the trendy
Tokyo district of Shibuya on Sunday (March 29th).
Among the collection of songs performed by the singer was an original Japanese-language love ballad entitled Soredemo Aishitai (Still I Want to Love You), reports Kyodo News.
Other tracks performed during the 80-minute show include Celebrate, To Be Loved and That Could Not Be Love.
The 24-year-old played to an audience of dignitaries in Japan last year, when she came as part of a delegation headed by Hu Jintao, the Chinese president.
In a recent interview with the Daily Yomiuri, the singer talked about her love of singing in her youth.
"When I was young I didn't sing very well, no pitch, no timing. I just liked to sing - nobody told me I sang well," she commented.
