Pop band Coldplay will be taking to the stage at Japan's Saitama Super Arena on February 11th and 12th.
The gigs are part of the band's world tour and come on the back of their latest album release Viva la Vida which was produced by Brian Eno.
Coldplay's debut album Parachutes saw them top the UK charts in 2000 and was followed two years later by A Rush of Blood to the head that contained anthemic songs such as Politik and In My Place.
It was recently announced that Coldplay has received seven nominations for this year's Grammy Awards which will take place in Los Angeles this Sunday (February 8th).
They join other UK nominees Radiohead (five nominations), Robert Plant/Alison Krauss (five nominations), Adele (four nominations), Duffy (three nominations) and Leona Lewis (three nominations).
British artists have a record 13 nominations this year, more than at any time in the award ceremony's 51-year history, reports the BBC.
