Japanese tennis player Ai Sugiyama and her Slovakian partner Daniela Hantuchova have made it through to the semi-finals of the women's doubles at the Australian Open.
The pair came back from a set down to beat Liezel Huber of the US and Cara Black of Zimbabwe, reports the Associated Press.
Ms Sugiyama said that she and her doubles partner remained aggressive and focused in their fight for each point.
"This doubles match was played at such a high level that it could have gone wither way.
"There is nothing to lose, so we will do out best to win the title."
She turned professional in 1992 and has won six singles titles and 42 double's titles.
Her victories include three Grand Slam women's doubles titles.
She also holds the record for the securing the most consecutive Grand Slam appearances, with a total of 58.
