An 18-year-old teenager from
Osaka Prefecture has been arrested after the death of a 38-year-old man.
According to reports by Mainichi Daily News, the teenager was arrested after pushing the man into the path of a moving train.
Police sources have confirmed that, after being apprehended, the teen said: "I thought that if I killed someone I could go to prison. I didn't care who it was."

Okayama Prefecture and the identity of the victim has been confirmed as Kuniaki Kariya, a government employee from
Kurashiki. Located within the central area of Japan's Chugogu region on the island of Honshu,
Kurashiki obtained its name as it is an area that features a significant number of local residences complete with storehouses, which are called kura-yashiki in Japanese, according to the Japan National Tourist Organisation.
Indeed, in one area alone - a district called Bikan-chiku - there are 85 different storehouse constructions.
