Rafeal Nadal has managed a straight-sets win in the Japan Open tennis final.
The Spanish player is currently ranked number one in the world and outplayed his opponent, the Frenchman Gael Monfils.
The match ended 6-1, 7-5 with Monfils failing to achieve a break point at any point during the final as Nadal remained in charge throughout the match.
It is the seventh title of the year for Nadal and he is hoping to finish the tennis season with more victories over the coming months.
Nadal said: "I have to enjoy these moments because you never know when they will end.
"I'm going to try to keep it going in Shanghai [next week] and the rest of the season and in London."
The number one tennis player is now preparing to compete in China's Shanghai Rolex Masters event, where his first match will be against the Swiss player Stanislas Wawrinka.
