BA launches new flights to Japan
British Airways has added an additional route to its Japan services due to increased demand from UK travellers.

The new five-a-week service from Heathrow to Haneda will commence on February 19th and will offer an alternative to British Airway's London to Narita service.

Flights will be on a Boeing 777 and passengers will be able to choose from four travel classes – First, Club World, World Traveller Plus and World Traveller. Ticket prices will start at £721 for a return trip and flights will be available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

Haneda Airport is close to the main business centre in Tokyo and handles both international and domestic flights. Passengers arriving at the airport on international flights can take a free shuttle bus to any of Haneda's three terminals in order to catch connecting flights.

British Airways also offers flights to other Japanese cities -Fukuoka, Osaka Kansai, Nagoya and Sapporo.
