BA plans new Japanese flights
British Airways has announced a new route to Haneda in Japan.

The airline believes the new service will meet the growing demand for flights to Japan from UK holidaymakers and business passengers.

Beginning in February, the Heathrow to Haneda service will operate five times a week with a Boeing 777. Passengers will be able to opt for first, business, premium economy or economy class, with prices starting at £721.

Haneda Airport is ideal for travellers planning to visit Tokyo but it is also a major domestic travel hub so it is easy for passengers wanting to fly on to other Japanese locations.

The airport has two domestic terminals as well as an international terminal. There is a free shuttle bus service operating between all three sites to help make transfers easier and quicker.

British Airways will continue to offer a daily flight to Tokyo's Narita airport in addition to the new Haneda service.
