The Japanese premiere of Sex and the City 2 has taken place in
Tokyo, with all four of the show's main characters in attendance.
The trip to Japan follows a jetsetting few weeks for the famous foursome and ahead of the showing of the film, the group held a question and answer session with some of their biggest Japanese fans.
Sex and the City 2 follows on from the first film, showing Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda two years into the future. Storylines in this year's movie include Carrie's boredom in her marriage and a holiday to Abu Dhabi which sees the group bump into some well known faces from the TV show's past.
Speaking to the Japanese fans, Kristen Davies - who plays Charlotte - thanked them in Japanese for their understanding of her character, reported celebrity magazine OK!.
None of the four disappointed fans of the fashion seen in the show and Sarah Jessica Parker, who plays Carrie, wowed the crowds with a meringue style floral gown and towering heels.
