Japanese gaming giant Nintendo has announced it will launch a new version of its popular DSi console in Europe in March.
The new DSi - the DSi XL - is a larger version of the previous model and is due to be released in Europe on March 5th this year.
DSi XL's has been on sale in Japan since November last year and comes with one of Dr Kawashima's Brain Training games. The new European release is set to be available in two colours but no details have yet been given about its price.
However, Nintendo has said that the model will be available at a "slight premium" compared to its other handheld consoles. Many gaming experts have predicted it will cost around £140 on the European market.
The Nintendo DS console was the biggest selling handheld gaming device in Japan last year, shifting a total of four million units.
