Shiatsu Lesson

Overview

Shiatsu (shi meaning finger and atsu meaning pressure) is the art of traditional  Japanese massage. Shiatsu techinque refers to the use of fingers and palms to apply pressure to particular sections on the surface of the body for the purpose of correcting the imbalances of the body, and for maintaining and promoting health.  It is also a method of contributing to the healing of specific illnesses.

A hands-on introductory lesson with our English speaking expert offers a fascinating insight into Shiatsu, and it is a great skill to pick up during your time in Japan.

What you will learn will benefit your own self-development and help you develop a proper technique when giving Shiatsu to others.
